Remember a Better America 

Truth defends democracy. Compassion unites us. Hardship forges strength and solidarity.
This project gathers and shares firsthand stories that prove those values in action. By remembering an America rooted in truth, justice, and care, and naming where we fall short, we lay the groundwork for renewal. We invite people from every background to document moments of courage, fairness, dignity, and mutual aid in everyday life. Each story becomes a recipe of what’s possible, a lesson others can use, and a spark for civic action. Values become durable only when practiced, named, and handed forward.

Unchained: The Collection of Black History in Story and Song 

UNCHAINED traces four centuries of struggle and endurance—9 ORIGINAL ANTHEMS, 400 YEARS, 1 JOURNEY— rooted in spirituals, freedom songs, and today’s movements. They tried to silence us, but still we’re here: From Chains to Chattel, From Selma to Silence, From Trayvon to Tomorrow. Each song carries memory, grief, and power—and travels with teaching notes, so classrooms, congregations, and communities can learn and sing together. This is more than music. It’s how we remember. 

Marching Still

Marching Still pairs six original anthems with an open letter to America’s veterans—honoring service and sacrifice across eras while closing the civilian–military gap. Many veterans are still marching through memory, homecoming, and loss—we must help carry their burden. These songs lay bare the Veterans struggles and demand our respect and care.  We honor service best through understanding that tribute does not just come once a year.

Stories We Remember

Stories We Remember is a living archive of personal testimonies, short memories, lessons, and moments of courage that communities can hear, teach, and pass forward. By telling and preserving our history, we honor the past, shape the future, and remind each other that every voice matters.

Tell a moment you carry, something you witnessed, did, or learned. Upload a photo, or write a few lines. Then read a neighbor’s story, share it, and choose one action that moves us closer to a just and caring community.
